The Green Bay Packers biggest story is what will happen to Sam Shields. He only started playing cornerback his senior year in college and has developed into a solid cornerback.  Monday was the deadline for the Green Bay Packers to either put the Franchise or Transitional tag on him.  The Green Bay Packers opted to do neither; which means that Sam Shields will be testing the market in Free Agency.  Do you think the Green Bay Packers did the right thing?  Is a young player with a ton of upside worthy of a contract that would pay him in the neighborhood of $11 million a year?

As the NFL Draft approaches, Ted Thompson does not usually make a big splash in Free Agency.  The New Orleans Saints placed the Franchise Tag on Jimmy Graham. If a team would want to tender an offer; they would not only have to pay Graham, but would also surrender two first round picks to the Saints.  The boys disagree on whether the Green Bay Packers should seriously consider this move.  With the Green Bay Packers picking 21st in the upcoming NFL Draft, there are a number of things that could happen with this pick.  They desperately need safety help, but the top two safeties in the draft may not fall that far.  With the draft being deep at many positions, the Green Bay Packers are hoping that they can find a starter with this pick.

As the show wrapped up, Tyler Dunne reported quickly on the Milwaukee Brewers.  The biggest topic in spring training is the return of Ryan Braun.  Tyler said that he is knocking the ball all over the park.  Tyler also stated that Ryan Braun is trying to block the reactions out of his mind.  The reactions have been mixed depending on what ball park you are at, but he has heard some very loud boo’s already in spring training.
