In this episode of the Red Light Sports Ramble, Evan and Troy discuss four games that have significant meaning for the playoffs.  With the San Diego Chargers beating the Denver Broncos, the New England Patriots now find themselves just a 1/2 game behind the Broncos for the number 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.  They take on the Miami Dolphins who are currently tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the 6th seed; however, they lose the tiebreaker.  The Patriots once again find themselves without Rob Gronkowski, who suffered a horrid leg injury last Sunday.

nfl playoffsJay Cutler is healthy again, so Marc Trestman stuck to his word and named Cutler the starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.  The reaction of fans on twitter and Facebook has been crazy.  Listen to what Evan and Troy think of this decision..  This is a game the Bears must win if they hope to win the NFC North because they lose the tiebreaker with the Detroit Lions if they finish the season with the same record.

Cincinnati will be able to clinch the AFC North with a win and a Baltimore loss or tie.  They are coming off a great game against the Indianapolis Colts, as they dominated all phases of the game.  They are facing a Pittsburgh Steelers team, whose playoff hopes were crushed with a loss to the Miami Dolphins.

On Monday night, to 7-6 teams battle each other.  The Baltimore Ravens currently hold the 6th and final playoff spot in the AFC; while the Detroit Lions are tied for the NFC North lead.  The winner of this game will have a little room to breathe with 2 games left.
