WR Devin Hester Mike Bell, Louis Green, Devin Hester (Chicago Bears) didn’t work with the wide receivers Tuesday, April 16,  the first day of the team’s voluntary workouts. He worked all special teams plays, including kicks and punt returns. Head coach Marc Trestman said Hester will focus on being the team’s return man.

“I love it, man,” Hester said after practice.

The Chicago Bears signed OG Eben Britton (Jaguars) Tuesday, April 16 to a one-year deal. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Seattle Seahawks cut DL Dexter Davis Tuesday, April 16.

New York Giants RB Andre Brown is expecting a big year in 2013, and knows how important it is for him to produce.

“This is my year. I have to go out there and have to produce. I feel like this is a very important season and I have to go out there and show the world what Andre Brown is made of.”

“I have to outdo last year’s stats. Eight touchdowns – I want 22. I want 1,300 (yards) this year. That’s the steppingstone. I have to erase last year’s stats and show I can do better.”

 

Cleveland Browns OG Jason Pinkston (blood clot) did not participate in the team’s first day of minicamp practice Tuesday, April 16.

MichaelVickMichael Vick and Nick Foles (Philadelphia Eagles) split the time taking first team reps at the team’s minicamp Tuesday, April 16, according to head coach Chip Kelly. Kelly said that QB Dennis Dixon also got a first team rep.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Bernard Scott received a one-year deal with a $715,000 base salary and a cap number of $791,250.

California WR Keenan Allen was red flagged for failing a drug test at the Combine. His agent has denied that he failed a test, but the results are unknown.

The Cleveland Browns’ No. 1 priority is rumored to be Alabama CB Dee Milliner, with Louisiana State LB Barkevious Mingo their plan B. Personally, I bet they go outside the box, trade down, and draft a guard. Probably Cooper.
