In this episode of the “Red Light Sports Ramble”; presented by the Red Light Sports Network, Evan invites guest Brian Carriveau to the show.  Brian is the author of “It’s Just a Game”; along with being an Editor at CheeseheadTV.com and Pro Football Draft Preview.  As Free Agency slows down, the NFL owners meeting is under way.  From this meeting, we could see rule changes, trades, and other breaking news from around the NFL.
The biggest topic of conversation with the Green Bay Packers is Julius Peppers.  He is the biggest Free Agent signing in Green Bay, since Charles Woodson.  How will Peppers be used in the Packers 3-4 scheme?  This question is answered by Brian.  Peppers has played with his hand on the ground for his whole career in the NFL.  It will be interesting to see who Dom Capers utilizes a defensive end that seems to have some gas left in the tank.
The Green Bay Packers continue to have a plan in Free Agency.  This normally consists of re-signing key pieces of the puzzle.  One key piece has not be re-signed.  John Kuhn, is still on the market.  Kuhn, is a pivotal blocker in the passing game.  His block on Peppers; in Week 17, allowed Aaron Rodgers to find Randall Cobb for the winning touchdown.  Brain talks about two options with Kuhn.  If they don’t resign Kuhn, the Green Bay Packers could get away from having a fullback.  However; it is likely, Kuhn will resign with Green Bay at some point.  Kuhn knows the Green Bay Packers offense like the back of his hand.  Leaving in Free Agency would mean learning a whole new scheme and offense.  The comfort level that Kuhn has in Green Bay, and with Aaron Rodgers should make him a Green Bay Packer in 2015.
