Me53copy Hi My name is CowgirlCas. Many of you know me, but for those of you who don’t, I have been covering the Cowboys for quite some time now. I started out as the administrator  for a Dallas Cowboys fan club. I began my writing career by posting blogs on my profile at www.dallascowboys.com. (this was before they changed the site profiles and removed the user blog spot). At that time it was just a hobby and I started getting offers to write for different web sites. Steven Mulleneux (the editor of The Landry Hat) was the one whose offer I accepted. I covered the Cowboys for a while there and then began writing for Sport DFW. I had no formal training as a writer, but C. Joseph Wright (the editor there) took me under his wing and helped me become a better writer by taking the time to explain to me in detail what changes he made and why he made each edit in my articles. I have to say, I owe him a great deal for all that he has done for me. While writing for Sport DFW I was approached by Leslie Batson from FanAtChicks and I started contributing articles there as well. After spending so much time writing for other people, I decided it was time to start my own blog spot. So here I am lol.

I would like to welcome all of you to Your Daily Cowboys football Fix. We will be primarily a Dallas Cowboys web site, but we are also fans of other sports. We also know that all sports are seasonal. We will do our best to keep you updated on all other types of sports. Be patient with us because we are just starting out and it will take time to put together a staff large enough to cover all the other sports. I would also like to let you know that we will be including a wholesale store. We will be able to offer merchandise at a major discount. In many cases we will maintain pricing that is about half of the shelf price in your local mall. It is very time consuming setting up the initial store so be patient while we do so. We will start off with Cowboys merchandise first. If you have a request for another team or sport, email me and let me know what team you want the merchandise for. Once you see our wholesale prices you will have no desire to shop anywhere else.

If you like what you see here, I ask that you click  on one or more of the social media share links on the site and also tell your friends and family about us. If you would like to receive email notifications when new articles get posted you can sign up in the tool bar on the right side of the page. If you have any questions, a specific team you would like us to cover, or ideas for the site, feel free to email me at casaraful3@yahoo.com. If you would like to write for us click on the write for us link at the top of the page.  Thank You for taking the time to visit the site and we will be posting articles and multimedia shortly. Peace Love and Happiness to you all.

Best wishes, Cas.

This is already better than their official site because I can actually comment! Great site looking forward to your work! Cowboys need to stay healthy and be AGGRESSIVE! They need some attitude going into this season

    • unfaze7

Oh yeah this page had been bookmarked

    • unfaze7 Thank You!  good points, I think they need some nasty too

  • MichaelValentino

Hi Cas, congratulations on this new opportunity. I can’t wait to follow you here as I have at Sports DFW. I love your analysis and boldness. I’m glad CJ Wright invested time in you. I think he saw your potential. I get more out of your articles than anything I read elsewhere when it comes to the Cowboys. Wishing you nothing but success and a wider reading audience. You sure know your football. In your corner, always, Michael

  • Defense 28

I was reading a few articles that the cowboys were trying to get free to take a pay cut to sign winston, what do you think of this move?

    • waynoootn

Defense 28 I think they just need to get rid of Free and sign Winston.

      • waynoootn Defense 28 I agree, but I would rather have Clabo he is more of a road grader. Either would be an improvement though.

      • waynoootn Defense 28 I agree, but I would rather have Clabo he is more of a road grader. Either would be an improvement though.

    • Defense 28 I think they would be better off just cutting him. JJ always hangs on to guys who don’t get it done, it’s a waste of salary cap space.

      • CowgirlCas22 Defense 28  that is true..JJ would be better suited to “playing the game” rather than mirroring as it were

  • osnappp

Great site Cas, thanks for letting me know.  I will save it to my favorites.
    regards,
    Osnappp

    • osnappp Hi Snapp, good to see you again, you can also subscribe and get email notifs every time a new article gets posted.

  • Cas,its really very simple..In a nutshell the Cowboys have “redeemed” themselves more or less, not so much looking back at their mistakes of “what if” or that proverbial, “would shoulda coulda”,but they’ve moved on from there, and look to be a great team coming into the season

    • TexasTwoStep  I hope you are right, but if JJ doesn’t protect Tony and get a big nasty DT it will be more of the same .500 team

      • CowgirlCas22 TexasTwoStep  “time is of the essence” My friend Casara,..yes they do have a bit of a rough edge to work on,but the chips will get smoother to a finer polish, then the team will show its “mettle”.

      • CowgirlCas22 TexasTwoStep casara,have I ever let you down before? the team just needs a good solid coverage to fill in the gaps, and like I said earlier, they need stronger protection coverage on Romo

  • thanks for letting me know about your site..I knew you were up to the challenge of great things, and this is what you’ve been up to..job well done!

    • TexasTwoStep Your welcome Matthew. And Thank You!

  • Last season, while have a strong defense, they still ranked 30th in the League..
Perhaps heading into the Draft, corrections and changes will be made..
As for QB,Romo looks good where he is,but needs cover protection..
who will fill that void, only time will tell Calibur Dallas has,but there are still holes left to be filled, weaknesses to be strengthened.

    • TexasTwoStep OL and DL are a must, the trenches have been neglected for too long

      • Defense 28

I agree Cas that’s why our red zone offense has been bad opposing teams don’t respect our run game because they man handle us at the point of attack

      • CowgirlCas22 TexasTwoStep   I agree..their ground game would be well spent on both sides, hopefully to open up useful plays and changeups in the mid-line,something not alot of teams think about doing, but done right..it can be a “win win” 🙂

    • Defense 28

need more help on D line not enough pressure on opposing qb’s especially late in games been hurting us for years

      • Defense 28 we have needed that big nasty DT for a long time now.

        • Defense 28

well one of my idols growing up was randy white would love to get another manster but would be happy if we got someone as good as leon lett.

        • Defense 28 thats my dads favorite D player of all time

        • Defense 28

CowgirlCas22 Defense 28 he is my second favorate I am partial to safeties so my guy is Charlie Waters

        • MichaelValentino

CowgirlCas22 Defense 28 Cas, my favorite defensive player too. I’d watch Cowboys games and just zero in on no. 54. Even with Harvey Martin to his right and John Dutton and Too Tall Jones to his left (all of them Pro Bowl caliber players) my focus was always on Randy White. My skin crawls when people say Mean Joe Greene was lights out better than Randy White. White had more sacks, more tackles, played against better quality guards (left guards like John Hannah, Tom Mack, Russ Grimm, etc. were better, as a group, than the right guards Greene faced), and White did not have LBs as good as Ham and Lambert playing behind him. Bob Lilly may have been better than White (and that is debatable) but the Manster will always be my favorite D Cowboys player.

        • MichaelValentino CowgirlCas22 Defense 28 it would be awesome if you would do a tribute article on Manster! I wasn’t even born yet lol

        • MichaelValentino

CowgirlCas22 MichaelValentino Defense 28 Would love to! I’ll private msg you Cas. 🙂

        • MichaelValentino

CowgirlCas22 MichaelValentino Defense 28 Cas, you have so much football wisdom beyond your years! 😉

        • MichaelValentino CowgirlCas22 Defense 28 I’m looking forward to it

        • MichaelValentino CowgirlCas22 Defense 28 thank you

        • waynoootn

MichaelValentino CowgirlCas22 Defense 28 I grew up watching Randy White,Harvey Martin,Too Tall Jones, and Charlie Waters. To me that was one of the best defense’s of all time.

        • waynoootn MichaelValentino CowgirlCas22 Defense 28  That’s why they called it: “DOOMS DAY”

      • Defense 28 we have needed that big nasty DT for a long time now.

  • What does it take to be a World Class Team, ask Tom Landry,he’s been there he knows.
Where are the Landry’s of today? they’re out there, waiting…The Dallas Cowboys in the 70s and 80s were on everyone’s lips,America’s Team..they were to Football what the Atlanta Braves were to Baseball,a Home team Favorite and America’s Team..are they today? Absolutely!

  • Rising to the Challenge!! Nothing new to the Dallas Cowboys..in their finest moments,Victory was within reach, only to be snatched away momentarily..but Dallas has that award winning “can do” spirit.!! They rise to the occasion and win.If Not on the field, they win in our hearts..
Pierre d’Coubertin, of the Modern Olympics Moment, said “Its not whether you win or lose, its how you play the Game”. And time and time again ,the Dallas Cowboys have magnified those very words with the Pride and the Honor of their team..will they have a “Winning Season”?
    Wait and see!

  • Defense 28

great listening to Garrett today saying how the cowboys are going to be drafting best available not by need, wonderful looking forward to another disappointing draft. might as well spin a roulette wheel and guess..

  • Cas I did NOT see that one coming!! where the Chargers managed to get Fluker before Dallas had the chance..can you or someone brief me on who they got instead?

  • Cas,Dallas picked up an OL did you catch the name? I saw it by by on our Fox Sports San Diego channel on the “crawl ticker”,just wondered if you or anyone else caught the name or names?

    • TexasTwoStep Broaddus said they didnt get anyone, I just asked him.
